The Foundation collaborates with the nation’s leading museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art, The Guggenheim Museum, and the National Building Museum (NBM) in Washington DC to present programs that further the mission of the Foundation. Each year since 2006, the NBM in collaboration with BWAF presents a program during March, the nationally designated Women’s History Month, featuring women’s history, women leaders in academia, and contemporary practitioners. In 2009, during the Guggenheim Museum’s 50th Anniversary Gala celebration, BWAF produced, as part of their program, a film titled “’A Girl is a Fellow Here’ 100 Women Architects in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Studio”, that in the following years has now been screened in venues across the US, Europe and Asia. In addition to the program, “Women in Modernism,” at MoMA, the Museum hosted the first BWAF Fellow’s Colloquium.
