“WOMEN SHAPING NEW YORK”.

Exploring the Continuing Influence of Women
in Shaping the Landscape of New York City.

Did you know that the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge
was heavily influenced by a woman? It’s true!
And many of New York’s public spaces continue to be shaped by women.

The following panelists will discuss our featured Leading Ladies of NYC:

MR. KRISTIAN ROEBLING ● Board of Directors ● The Roebling Museum
To discuss Emily Warren Roebling’s role in the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge.

MS. CLAIRE WEISZ and MS. ANDREA WOODNER
Founders ● The Design Trust for Public Space
The Design Trust selects research and design projects from across the five boroughs including: “Reclaiming the High Line”, “Reinventing Grand Army Plaza”, “Five Borough Farm”, and “Made in Midtown” just to name a few.

MS. COURTNEY CLARK ● Project Engineer ● Weidlinger Associates
Weidlinger Associates provided structural engineering services for the American Museum of Natural History’s new Rose Center for Earth and Space, as well as services in the rehabilitation of New York bridges.
