Anyeley Hallová
Founder and CEO, Adre
Anyeley is a real estate developer with over 20 years of experience in the built environment. She is the founder of Adre, an equity-centered development company formed with the purpose of developing projects that create social and economic benefits for groups that traditionally lack access to real estate ownership and investment. For 12 years, Anyeley was a partner with project^, a Pacific Northwest development company, where she focused on shepherding projects through entitlements and construction. During her tenure, she delivered over $110M in award-winning sustainable market-rate housing, student housing, homes for sale, retail, and offices for mission-driven organizations. She led the research and development of Framework, the first permitted wood high-rise in the U.S., serving as a catalyst for the country’s mass timber industry. She also spearheaded the headquarters project for Meyer Memorial Trust, one of Oregon’s largest foundations, which earned a ULI Americas Award for Excellence as a top 10 development in North and South America. Her civic leadership includes serving as Chair of Oregon’s Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). A published researcher and writer, she is on the patent Sustainable Performance Information for a Property and is author of “A Kids Book About Real Estate Development”.
Ilana Judah
Associate Principal, Arup
With over 25 years of experience in the built environment, Ilana spent the first decade of her career as a practicing architect across a range of project types prior to specializing in sustainability and resilience. This range of professional experience enables Ilana to provide innovative yet practical solutions that meet ambitious climate objectives. Based in New York, Ilana has led climate, sustainability, and resilience endeavors on public and private sector projects around the world. Her clients range from commercial property owners and investors to public sector infrastructure agencies. She has also served as an advisor to governments, a board member and chair of sustainability groups, and has forged industry partnerships to advance climate imperatives. Drawing upon a multidisciplinary team across Canada, the United States, and Latin America with expertise in services including adaptation and resilience, sustainable design and strategy, and decarbonisation, Ilana strives to develop a tailored approach to meet each client’s unique challenges and objectives.
Lara Kaufman
Design Principal, Studio Gang
Architect Lara Kaufman is a Design Principal based in the Studio’s New York office. As Studio Gang’s Sustainability Lead, she oversees the Studio’s Sustainability Task Force and directs project teams on implementation of holistic design approaches for decarbonization, healthy materials and biodiversity. Lara has advanced initiatives for the Marlboro Agricultural Education Center and the David Rubenstein Treehouse, which is targeting Living Building Challenge’s Core Green Building Certification and Materials Petal. She also leads the Studio’s ongoing research into sustainability, including a whole life carbon analysis of the Beloit College Powerhouse, and has joined numerous industry conferences, summits, and university studio courses as an invited speaker. A committed advocate for urgent climate action within the building industry, she is currently serving as co-lead for the Carbon Leadership Forum’s NYC hub and contributes to other working groups promoting environmental policy, best practices, and education.
