With its animated sign, colorful interior, and shining plate glass revealing a riot of planting, the 1993 renovation of this classic Los Angeles Googie building (circa 1958) brings back the detail and finesse of Fong's original vision. Meant to attract the passerby at 30 miles per hour, Pann's expresses all the exuberance of the LA aerospace culture.
